There always seems to be another part of Keith Junior High School waiting to be discovered.
During another exploration of the historic building, we came across what appears to be the old boys' gym. Walking into the space gives you a glimpse into what Keith Junior High was like when it was still filled with students, activities, and school events.
A Look Into the Past
One of the coolest things about exploring Keith is seeing how much of the building has remained intact.
The gym is still in surprisingly good shape, with many of the features that made the space what it was still visible today. One detail that really stands out is the small viewing area overlooking the gym.
There are also old clocks and other details throughout the space that serve as reminders of the building's history.
More Than Just an Empty Room
While an empty gym might seem like just another room in an old building, it's easy to imagine what this space once looked like when it was being used every day.
Students would have gathered here for gym classes, practices, games, and other school activities. For people who attended Keith Junior High, walking through the space today may bring back memories of a very different time.
