Upgrading the Building: Moving Transformers Into the 21st Century

We just showed you what we've been calling the “Frankenstein room,” a lower area of the building where older electrical infrastructure used to sit.

Down in the recess below, there were transformers located inside the building—equipment that, while functional, wasn't ideal from a modern safety or maintenance standpoint.

That's now changed.

Those transformers have been relocated out of the building and into a newly installed, modern green vault outside. This upgrade required the installation of a dedicated vault structure, which we had to invest in as part of the project.

Why the Upgrade Matters

This wasn't a small or inexpensive job, but it was an important one.

By moving the transformers outside the building, we've improved both the safety and long-term reliability of the property. It reduces internal risk, modernizes the infrastructure, and brings the system in line with current standards.
